StartUp Health Festival

Since 2011, the StartUp Health Festival has gathered thousands of CEOs, investors, world leaders and entrepreneurs to focus on solving the world’s biggest health challenges. For the first time, the <a href="https://www.viveevent.com/startup-health-festival" target="_blank" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(17, 85, 204);">StartUp Health Festival</a> will take place alongside the industry’s new health information technology event, ViVE, from March 6-9, 2022, with over 100 Health Transformers from 75 StartUp Health portfolio companies. This exciting new partnership will allow for even more entrepreneurs, investors, and those working in public and private sectors who want to speed up health innovation to experience the StartUp Health Festival.

Good ViVEations Innovation Challenge

MedStartr runs startup contests to find, fund and accelerate the best new ideas in healthcare faster. The top five teams that apply to get on stage, as determined by a crowd of MedStartr Mentors, will compete for funding and acceleration worth up to 1 million dollars. Come help judge the contest and catch the Good ViVEations, the Great Innovations that will be coming to medicine this year.  The session will open with some Good ViVEations from the Salam the Poet and then each company will have 4 minutes to pitch their idea followed by 4 minutes of questions from the panel of judges representing patients, providers, institutions and partners. Natural Disasters, Response and Technology for Advancing Continuity of Care

Join the Florida Institute for Health Innovation for an exciting and forward-looking conversation on the role technology can play in improving healthcare continuity before, during, and after a disaster or public health emergency. This series delivers a powerful panel presentation with population health innovators, a fireside chat with groundbreaking technology leadership, and an insightful Q&amp;A with companies, investors, and practitioners.  This series will address issues facing people and places hit hardest by natural disasters such as hurricanes Katrina, Harvey, and Irma, and environmental catastrophes and public health emergencies. This series will also focus on first response solutions for mobile and telehealth connectivity and interoperability.
